It Started With Auction Cars

I got my start buying and selling cars at local auctions around New Orleans. Every single time I sold a vehicle, people noticed the same thing first — not the engine, not the transmission, not the mileage.

They noticed how clean it was.

How glossy the paint looked.
How the rims shined.
How fresh the interior smelled.
How the entire vehicle stood out from everything around it.

That’s when I realized something important:

Detailing changes the way people see a vehicle.

And honestly, I also realized that most people around here weren’t doing it the right way.

From Childhood Car Washes To Building A Brand

Long before CL Detailz became a business, I was already around this type of work. I worked at a car wash when I was around 9 or 10 years old and never thought much of it at the time.

I would’ve never guessed that years later this would become my career and passion.

Growing up, I moved around all throughout the New Orleans area, which helped me connect with different people, neighborhoods, and communities across the city.

Born in Metairie

Lived in the 6th Ward and attended Phillis Wheatley

Stayed Uptown in the 3rd Ward and attended Wilson Elementary

Moved to the 5th Ward and attended Morris Jeff and McDonogh 28

After Katrina, attended Bunch Middle School and Bonnabel High School in Kenner

Because of those experiences, CL Detailz was built with roots all across New Orleans — not just one neighborhood.
